Hamster Hustle

Overview

Hamster Hustle is the first game from Dreamship Games and the second title I’ve helped publish on Steam. I contributed from the ground up helping shape the idea, programming core gameplay, and even managing the Steam page.

Project Description

  • Hamster Hustle is a fast-paced, online multiplayer party game that supports up to 12 players per match. Built with a focus on player interaction and replayability, it offers a lighthearted blend of strategy, movement, and chaos—perfect for game nights, streaming, and casual competition.

What I worked on

-Used Blueprints to create the base gameplay and game mode rules of Tag for our players to enjoy.

-Used peer to peer replication to make the game work multiplayer with up to 12 players.

-Created and maintained a majority of the UI/UX code to allow for a user friendly experience.

-Worked with our VFX artist and our Animator to make sure the VFX’s, Animations, and Sound all got into the project and replicated across clients.

-Created, maintained, and uploaded the Steam Store page and game build files.
